Gun Jam
A new reveal for Gun Jam is out there to show us how Gun Jam will meld many different styles into one game
Originally, Gun Jam was teased as something that could come to us all and now we are here with the next big announcement for the game. Nothing too huge as it is a showing that Jaw Drop Games and Raw Fury are working together to make a reality, but it is something. Something for all of the PC gamers out there to take note of if they are into rhythm games and want something a bit different. A bit different in the way that Gun Jam will be mixing various different musical styles that traditionally are not done in these kinds of games. And here I bet you thought this was going to be another weird shooter with the name that it has here. Even if it is a bit but not just in the first-person only kind of experience.
All in all, there is not much more to go on for all of this and Gun Jam, as this is still early in the announcement and development cycle. It is all here so we know that it was not just a tease from a few years ago that might never go anywhere. In fact, we have a little bit of gameplay to look at for Gun Jam mixed into all of these announcements just below, but nothing that is all that meaty. It does slightly touch on the multi-genre aspect of the music, but it all still sounds closer to basic house music than anything that blends Metal and Pop into the fast=paced shooting action of it all. I have a feeling that will all be coming at us shortly now that we have an official announcement for it all. Have a look and see if you are still excited for this one to hit.
Gun Jam — Announcement
Gun Jam is a fast-paced rhythm first-person shooter where the player must shoot to the beat to survive.
Welcome to the city where the omnipresent ‘Beat’ means everything and music is used as a means of control. While city-dwellers dance to The Speaker’s ruling tune, players must rebel and break out of its hypnotic flow by force.
In Gun Jam, an original, multi-genre soundtrack propels you across varied environments in the vibrant city of ‘Mubel.’ Carefully match your shots to the beat pattern and fight off hordes of tranced-out troopers and other enemies to survive the musical dystopia and restore freedom to the masses.
Did you think that Gun Jam was dead in the water after all this time or was it another slowdown due to the pandemic and when the tease dropped? Do you get the multi-genre feeling from this trailer or will that come at us a bit later and truly be what it is described as? Will there be more to the game than the music and shooting to the beats or will it just be another in the line that just has a different soundtrack for us to blast with? Let us all know down in the comments what you are thinking and then feel free to discuss it all. More for Gun Jam will be on the way, so keep checking back for all of that and more. I have a feeling this one will give it a good try to blow us out of the water.
