WWE 2K22 Has An Official Date It Will Be Hitting Us Differently

WWE

The final release date for WWE 2K22 is now set for the next installment into the WWE 2K line of games

Keeping to its word, WWE 2K22 is launching in March still and now we can look to pick it all up on March 11th to enjoy. It seems a little odd we did not get that on the first announcement that 2K and Visual Concepts gave us all, but it is what it is. Just know that you can now pre-order this one and get ready for more of your own WWE matches at home and get a few little extra costumes in the mix. Those that truly want to throw down now can get three different Undertaker skins to use in the matches. One of them being the classic one I know I grew up with. A nice little enticement to pick it up and give it all a whirl.

Sadly, something that is not the best to get me into giving WWE 2K22 a play has to be the latest trailer to come with this little announcement. It has all of the weird fun and basics one would expect from the IP here, but the gameplay looks quite a bit dated. At least when compared to what we have seen in the past and other titles that have dropped out there. Even to the point that it does not feel like any kind of video compression holding it back. Maybe this is why most of it is shown via side shots and quick movements in the trailer here as the WWE stars fight over it all. It does feel like it is not over who gets to play it but who needs to get things changed up to make it on par with fan expectations.
