Take A Walk Through Some Of The Gameplay For A Plague Tale: Requiem

A Plague Tale

The first bit of gameplay for A Plague Tale: Requiem is here and we are getting a whole lot more for this story in A Plague Tale

It feels like we waited so long for it, be here we go with our first look at the gameplay we are going to be getting in A Plague Tale: Requiem. This was one of the shining factors in the game the first time around and we can only imagine that Asobo Studio has improved upon it all since. It would be weird to take all of the awards, admiration, and time for the IP and not do so. Even if A Plague Tale is all centered around a nice little stealth gameplay loop to help tell an engaging story and give us a different take on how things could have been in history. Even if there are some extra supernatural elements here. I digress, as now we can dive in and see how the gameplay might have changed between the two titles.

Thankfully, it looks like the core elements from the first title will be back in A Plague Tale: Requiem. We will have some other options to sneak around and stay out of sight, all while trying to use the swarms of rats to our advantage too. There does seem to be a lean in on more of the action elements from A Plague Tale: Innocence in this little bit. Amicia and Hugo are using some of the bigger bits of firepower available during the time here and not just tossing rocks again. All of this does beg the question as to what did happen to them at the end of the first title that would drive them to the heart of all of this again. I guess that is why we are getting this game. Maybe we will get to see more of the crafting and other elements that were only lightly touched on in the last game, but in a full element of the experience. No matter the case, we are at least getting more of what made the game amazing in the first place.
