Oddworld: Soulstorm Is Getting Enhanced A Bit More Before The End Of The Month

The release date for Oddworld: Soulstorm’s Enhanced Edition is now set for more Oddworld fans to join in the fun again

The fun of Oddworld: Soulstorm is about to come right back to all of us again after finally hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC not too long ago. This time it is coming right back with the Enhanced Edition that we have heard about to give us all of the next-gen feel to the game here. Now, it finally has a date for us to look at from Oddworld Inhabitants with November 30th offering up all of the fun once more. Fun and with a few more surprises in the mix for us to enjoy the whole title through again beyond just the visuals and other elements getting the upgrade to blow all of our minds with.

This new version of Oddworld: Soulstorm will bring us some new content in the mix to enjoy too. There will be some new options for Speed Runs and Zero-Death runs to be placed on leader boards. Then there will also be Toby's Escape in the mix that gives us shorter puzzle-filled levels to master instead of the longer ones that Oddworld: Soulstorm already offers us all. You cannot scoff too much at new content in the mix of getting the next-gen upgrades to be native and not just a backwards thing out there. Have a look at the latest trailer and get hyped for a short wait to get to experience it all.

Oddworld: Soulstorm — Enhanced Edition Release Date

Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and Epic Games Store 11/30/21.

Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition includes dramatically improved gameplay mechanics and motion code, audio balance improvements, seven additional months of polish, improved Slig and follower AI (more intelligent and responsive), as well as all previously released updates and brand new content.

What’s Soulstorm’s Brand New Content?

Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition’s new content is a separate challenge game mode accessed via the main menu once you complete the game.

Xbox players will go hands-on with Vykkers Labs, a throwback to classic Oddworld 2.5D gameplay featuring short puzzle-filled levels. Earn leaderboard prestige for speed runs or zero-death performances. For those who don’t recall, Vykkers Labs is a large airborne lab used for pharmaceutical testing on animals and run by the sadistic Vykkers.

PlayStation and Epic Games Store players will experience Toby’s Escape. Like Vykkers, it is a throwback to classic Oddworld gaming short puzzle-filled levels to master. If you have played Soulstorm, you’ll know Toby from the train, but how did Toby escape RuptureFarms and become the train’s conductor…find out in Toby’s Escape.
