Sherlock Holmes
Sherlock Holmes Chapter One has more prologue for us all to better know where Sherlock Holmes originally is coming from
We have even more of the lead up to the story for Sherlock Holmes Chapter One that is kicking off here in short order. The game from Frogwares that will be helping us experience the character's start to things does seem to have a whole lot of extra prologues to it all. Now, we have one more that will show us how Sherlock Holmes grew from a child into the young adult we will play in the game. If that feels a little confusing, do not feel like you are the only one out there with these wonders. That does not change the fact that we have more on all of that right now with even more on the way to help get the game out there on November 16th.
If that all sounds a bit confusing, then let me try to explain what is going on for Sherlock Holmes here. Even though the game so far has shown that this will be the first chapter to the character's overall and long story, we will need context to what made him the man he is at the start of the game. Thus we have the prologue that places him back as a child learning the love of the craft. That would technically make it the first chapter of Sherlock Holmes' life, but not the most compelling of things for a video game. This is why we have some of it to see here and get us ready for when it starts the tutorial of the game at launch. Maybe the upcoming longer video stream will shed better light on this and why this is not chapter one and the rest of the game is the subsequent chapters along the way.

Do you think we are going to need some Sherlock Holmes level of deduction to follow the story at launch or does this make sense to you already? Is there truly a need for a prologue when you are telling an origin story and should it not just be where it all starts? Do you think this will just be the basic tutorial we will have in the game and the rest will be the core elements that we all signed up for? Let us have all of those thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. We will keep the news and updates flowing for Sherlock Holmes Chapter One, so please keep checking back in here for all of that. I am sure it will all flow smoother once the game launches.
