Clid
A new top-down shooter, Clid The Snail, is here with Clid giving us all a new take on an anthropomorphized creature saving us all
It looks like some of those old feelings are coming back with a new title called Clid The Snail on the PS4, PS5, and PC. Old feelings in the way of video games going a bit on the outlandish side of things when it comes to creating a hero for us all to rally behind. Some of us might remember Earthworm Jim from so long ago, and now we will have Clid here on August 31st (today) to try to fill that void. Another one of those fun titles that just happened to slip out there during the chaos of gamescom this year, but still needs a little light shined on it for the creativity of it all. That is how I feel about it, at the very least. You can see what I am talking about before making your own opinion about it.
Unlike the other mentioned title, Clid The Snail is a top-down shooter instead of a side-scrolling platform title. This one will have that titular snail shooting their way through all kinds of hostile worlds and levels to help stop some slugs from destroying the world that they all live in. All with some fun weapons and combos that Clid can gain along the way and then make it easier to defeat all of these things out there. It sounds basic but it also sounds like a lot of fun. We also get to play as a snail with guns, so I am shocked that more of us are not talking about what Weird Beluga is giving us here. Time to give it all a shot and see if it lives up to the weird hype I have in my head now.
