Claire
The Steam release date for Claire de Lune is now set down with Claire de Lune coming to us in early July now
If you have been waiting around to find out when Claire de Lune is going to hit us after it was first shown off quite a while ago… now we are here to drop that all on you now. It has been a bit of a wait and now we can see the game hitting the Steam store here rather soon. It looks like Tactic Studios is ready for us all to dive in on the game with our PC now on July 12th. That is now the official release date for Claire de Lune and you can head out to Wishlist it and get ready to jump into this Portal-inspired title to try to recapture something that we know is a winning combination already.
That is all exciting and all, but for those that may have been off the hype train of Claire de Lune since we last heard of it, here we go with a bunch of new gameplay to highlight the game a bit more. It is easy to see where the inspiration came in and where it has deviated from that title too. It is all more of the other physics options that we saw over the years more than the teleportation aspect of it all. That and how we will need to use it more in a practical way than just passing tests. Claire de Lune will have us all infiltrating some buildings and trying to overcome some greater threats out there. You can have a look at it all just a bit lower and then get ready for a few more weeks to pass before you can try it all at home.
Claire de Lune — Gameplay
Enjoy 10 minutes of gameplay footage from Claire de Lune, our story-driven puzzle adventure game is now available to wishlist on Steam and Epic Games Store!
Marooned on a strange yet beautiful planet, there’s one mission: find your missing daughter. Aided by the ship’s quick-witted AI, Arturo, you’ll need every ounce of resourcefulness to survive the hostile environment and escape off world.
Armed with a powerful nanogun — more of a construction tool than a weapon — you’ll have to generate temporary blocks to act as footholds and spawn repulsor plates to quickly traverse across the treacherous landscape. Leveraging each feature of the weapon is key to progression if you’re to navigate the sheer cliff edges, hostile fauna, and bubbling acid lakes.
Claire de Lune crash-lands on Steam July 12th.
Have you been keeping an eye on Claire de Lune since we first heard about it all or did you need this new reminder on top of the announcement? Do you like the physics-based things that we are seeing here or do they feel like it could be a bit more basic than expected? What other ways will we need to use the gun and the hacking of it all in the game? Give us all of that feedback and then feel free to discuss it all down in the comments. If there is more to offer up for Claire de Lune, we will have it here for you. Just be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and everything else that we have to share with you as time marches on.
