Horizon
New gameplay for Horizon Forbidden West takes us all over the new world we are exploring in Horizon Forbidden West
Aloy is finally back in some kind of action after we had the short and small announcement for Horizon Forbidden West a while back. It feels like it has taken quite a while to get to where we are now for the game and it looks like Guerrilla Games is ready to give us what we have all been waiting for. That would be a deep dive into some of the new gameplay and actions we will be seeing in this new Horizon title here. While we do not have a date for when it is will be hitting the PS5 this year, we do get a whole lot of new actions we will get for this adventure while we are also taking down all forms of new mechanical dangers out there. Even if it is a little odd to see more and more machines based around animals instead of designs that might work slightly better out there.
There is a lot of the basics we have grown to love from Horizon Zero Dawn in there, but there are some other additions that we might not have expected along the way here. Most of which make sense with Aloy making the way to San Fransico now and all of the high-rises out there. Things like a new grapple hook traversal tool and some new glide tech to be able to sneak out there or make a quick escape from some massive enemies. It also looks like Aloy will have a better breathing system for longer underwater exploration too. I hope this does not mean we will have underwater combat in Horizon Forbidden West, though. That is always a rough thing to manage but there is mention of amphibious enemies, so I have a feeling that will be the case here. No matter the case, it all looks like it will be an amazing experience if it holds up to all of this.
