Gravitational Will Be Taking Us On Some New Perspectives On New Platforms

Gravitational

VR title Gravitational is now heading to the PSVR system to allow for more gamers to experience the wonders that Gravitational has to offer up

VR titles seem to be flowing out there in general and some of them are making some splashes in specific realms as we will see with Gravitational. This is the coming title from Electric Monkeys that will be hitting the PC and now the PSVR systems here soon and give us all a new way to experience a few things most of us do not. Something along the lines of Zero Gravity in VR while also being confined to a wheelchair. That description may make Gravitational sound a bit odd, but when you start to look deeper you can see why it is winning some awards out there and on July 13th will be hitting the new platform in a digital manner. All so we can get more gamers experiencing what the game has to offer up to us all.

In Gravitational, we will be playing a scientist by the name of Sebastian who is at the heart of a massive incident on his craft. Sebastian needs to get things under control in the sector and move about via master of zero gravity and wheelchair here. Also, to move blocks around and solve some other puzzles along the way in a fun-looking VR space. It is a keen way that the team is going about the movement in the VR space for Gravitational while also being inclusive of various human conditions that players in the real world could also be dealing with. We do not always have to be the muscle-bound athlete with a billion guns at our hands to save the day and countless others. That is something that seems to get a bit of the highlight here and will most likely carry the game on too many other wins along the way too.

Gravitational — Teaser

Studica Solution, Electric Monkeys, and Perp Games are thrilled to announce that Gravitational is coming to PlayStation VR from July 13th 2021. Gravitational will release digitally on July 13th and follow up with a physical release a few days later, on July 16th.

The release date announcement is hot on the heels of the news that Gravitational has won more awards to go with ‘The Itamaraty Social Impact Games Award’ won last year. Last week at the Big Festival 2021, Gravitational took home the ‘People’s Choice Award’ as well as receiving an honorable mention for the ‘Big Impact and Diversity’ category.

Gravitational takes place in a utopic future, where large corporations are in a race with each other to develop ‘gravitational travel & control’ systems. Systems that will revolutionize the World. Playing as Sebastian, a scientist at GraviCorp, you are at the heart of a huge incident resulting in the main core collapse. It is down to Sebastian to bring the accident under control and avoid a major catastrophe.

Facing challenges in inaccessible places and understanding the conflicts and traumas that Sebastian experiences, you navigate the world using both Sebastian’s wheelchair and also experience and master movement in ‘Zero Gravity’.

Have you heard of Gravitational before now or was this the light you needed to see before making the choice to add it to the PSVR collection? Do you think it was a great call to change the mobility up for a game like this while also working around the limitations of the hardware? How soon do you think it will be before we see more characters as Sebastian in the hero role and not just left to the background NPC roles out there? Give us that feedback down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you wish. If there is more for Gravitational, know we will share it all here for you. Just be sure to keep checking in for all of that and much more as the days and nights carry us forward.
