Bygone Dreams
The announcement for Bygone Dreams is here to give us a new adventure game with Bygone Dreams heading down a few different folklore paths
If there is one thing that video games are good for, it is giving the world different looks at different cultures with titles like Bygone Dreams, which was just announced. I mention all of that due to the fact that this one will be bringing us more of that unique Slavic folklore in the world and from developers, Prime Time Studio, that we generally do not get to see on the world's stage as often as others. At least from the part of the world that are not part of the bigger markets for video games. They get to shine with Bygone Dreams and then also bring out some of the folklore and mythologies that most will never hear about in their schools without taking specialized classes. All we will need here is a PC for when the game comes out and the time to soak it all up too.
Now that we have that out of the way, Bygone Dreams is an action-adventure title coming to us that will let us explore some new and stylized lands out there. We will face down a bunch of enemies and also big boss types as we normally do in these games. Obviously, Bygone Dreams will also house many different weapons and abilities for us to use and dominate with too. All of this while we are exploring this new world and playing out a story seeped in Slavic mythology and specifically Bosnian folklore. Not the traditional Greek, Roman, or Japanese that are the usual go to when not hyping up the Norse to be overly masculine. As I mentioned, it is nice to see how other cultures out there see things and that is an amazing thing about the industry so outsiders can see it all too. All in a fun way for those that only want to hack-n-slash everything they come upon at that.
