Biomutant

A new video for Biomutant is here to show off more of the world while letting Biomutant play on the fun of a much larger IP

It is another one of those little fun internet and nerd culture holidays and many have been getting in on the fun with Biomutant also taking a nice little jab at it while reminding us that the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 25^th still. Not that many of us might have forgotten that, but I will not stop Experiment 101 from having the fun of reminding us and the day too. It was also a great excuse for them to give us an homage to the larger IP out there with some in-engine footage for Biomutant too. It could be some form of gameplay too, but it feels like it was all made to show off some of the cute characters again and in a way that dives into the space-themed war story out there. I made it through without saying the name thus far…

Now that we have that out of the way, I do not think we really get much more for Biomutant here in terms of how it is going to play. We do get a fun look at more of how the world could be, with the character using whatever they can as a weapon and armor in the mix. Kind of how it has felt was the way since Biomutant first came on the scene. If this was not the case, they certainly could have placed any kind of real weapon or object on the character's back before they rushed in. It is still a fun thing to see, even if it does not feel like it is talking about the larger parts of the game we are going to get. All of this is supposed to be for fun, so we can accept that and just run with it all as much as possible for now. Have a look so you are not left out in the cold for it all too.

Do you think this will play into the large scope of Biomutant at all or is it just going to be the fun homage as we assume it will be? Do you think we will have many weapons as we see here with the toilet brush or is that also something specifically for this video without any other things to build on? Could this all be a similar story that we have in that larger IP they are riffing on or was this all made just for the faux holiday?
