Oddworld
New gameplay for Oddworld: Soulstorm is here with the announcement that physical editions for Oddworld: Soulstorm will be coming this Summer
The gameplay keeps flowing with the latest for Oddworld: Soulstorm hitting us from the big Future Games Showcase that has gone down. With April 6th not too far off for us to see the game hit the PS4, PS5, and PC, we will certainly need all we can get to see how Oddworld Inhabitants have mixed things up in this new installment to the IP. There have been many changes over the years for Oddworld and it does feel like this one will expand upon it all. More so when you have a solid look at the latest gameplay we have that helps to show how some of the story will be told in the background actions and other elements besides just exposition. Things like radio ads or elements moving in the background will help dictate where Abe needs to go or paths that are currently open up. Something I kind of wish we had more of in the past titles now.
In addition to this new gameplay to look at for Oddworld: Soulstorm, we have some new and interesting news to go along with it all. While the digital version of the game drops on us in a few weeks, and for free to those that have a PS+ subscription, it does look like we have a few new physical bundles and some pre-order items for those that will not be able to take advantage of the free version. With the bigger one offering up an amazing statue I have always been looking for when it comes to Oddworld. We are getting an Abe statue with him doing his little sneaky moves as always. There will also be a cool keychain in the mix and a transfer tattoo of Abe's in addition to all kinds of other physical goodies. I know I am down for all of this and cannot wait to add him to the collection on July 6th when these versions finally drop out there. Only for the PS4 and PS5 from the looks of it, though.
