The Fabled Woods Will Be Offering Up Some Higher-End Visuals

Fabled Woods

Have a look at The Fabled Woods as we get to see how using the NVIDIA enhancements to make The Fabled Woods shine just a bit more

This week we get to see The Fabled Woods finally hint our PCs out there and then we can dive deeper into all it has to offer. For those out there that seem to have a bit more power on their side when it comes to their machines, it does look like CyberPunch and Headup are ready to deliver on all of that with a few cool looking features we can activate. More than just the basics of ray-tracing and lighting, but it does look as if The Fabled Woods will be among the first titles out there to utilize some of these new capabilities to enhance how our video games will look and interact in the space. As long as you are still able to get the hardware that is required for all of this.

It looks like The Fabled Woods will be the first to handle some of the extra level of ray-traced foliage out there in the gaming world with a goal of over a million instances going on within the game while still offering up a great performance. That and the second title in the world to use the RTX Global Illumination that the 3070 and higher cards can offer up. It is an impressive feat for the industry and can be seen rather well in the following video, but take note that this is not the only thing we should focus on here for The Fabled Woods. At least when it launches, as graphics do not always make a great game. I just hope that these are extra features the few out there that can activate will be able to enjoy and everyone else will be able to enjoy things still without it. March 25th is so close now, so we will see soon.

The Fabled Woods — RTX Reveal

In close cooperation with NVIDIA, Headup is pleased to announce significant-tech enhancements for CyberPunch Studios’ upcoming adventure game The Fabled Woods for PC.

With implementing DLSS by using the Unreal Engine 4 plug ‘n’ play plugin, NVIDIA graphic cards such as the GeForce RTX 3070 and up will enable the narrative short story with maxed out settings and all ray tracing effects enabled at over 60 FPS at 3840x2160.

Besides the performance boost in terms of FPS, The Fabled Woods also features enhanced ray-traced foliage, reflections, and shadows. It is also the second game worldwide that uses RTX Global Illumination.

Can you see all of the massive upgrades in The Fabled Woods in this video and will it be something you can run? Do you suspect that there will be some kind of performance issues along the way if we run it at these settings at all times or will they make good on their promise? Do you think this will just be a bit of 'extra' gamers can go with this title or will it be used to try to sell it more while not focusing on the gameplay? Give us all of that feedback down below and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more to share for The Fabled Woods, you know we will have it all here. Please keep checking back in for all of that and everything else we have to share on the site.
