Monstrum II Hits Its Early Access Later In This Month

Monstrum

The early access for Monstrum II is now set down for this month following the open beta for Monstrum II this weekend

Those looking to get in on Monstrum II before it is in its final form, it is time to keep an eye out there and get ready. It looks like we are going to be seeing the game hit and Early Access phase for the PC on January 28th here. This could be what everyone has been waiting for and it is also what Junkfish wants to give those eagerly waiting for the game. Even if it might not be how Monstrum II will fully end up being for the PS4 and Xbox One when it is all done. All of which to have a nice tease of the game and help keep the development going out there.

If you cannot wait that long to have a chance to play Monstrum II, it looks like there will also be an open beta for the game this coming weekend (23rd and 24th). What will be in that beta is not fully defined out as of yet, but it will most likely be a teaser to pull more people into the Early Access more than anything. Just as this following teaser that comes with this announcement is trying to do. It is mostly just a look at one of the beasties we will be facing off with in Monstrum II. Have a look down below and see just what is going on out there.

Monstrum II — Malacosm Teaser

Security Breach: Specimen has Escaped. Take control this January, before it takes control of you.

Monstrum II is an asymmetric multiplayer game for those looking to take survival horror to the next level. Pit yourself against a terrifying monster as a team of up to 4 human prisoners, locked in a tactical struggle to escape a decrepit sea fortress, or play as one of the many horrifying monstrosities hunting them down.

The procedurally-generated environment changes with each playthrough, so stay on your feet as the layout, puzzles, items, and obstacles are randomized in each match.

Will you be trying to get in on this beta and Early Access for Monstrum II or will you hold off until there is a full release out there? Do you think it will house most of the game in the builds or will it hold off on much of the bigger parts to keep it feeling fresh at launch? How do you think this creature will function in the game or will it just be something creepy to see in the world? Let us know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you want. We will share everything we can for Monstrum II as it comes. Be sure to keep checking back for more of that and everything else.
