Kinetic Edge Looking To Bring More Fun To Us This February

Kinetic Edge

A release date and trailer for Kinetic Edge is here now for those looking to have a little more fun in the world

If you loved the physics-based racer games from the old gaming days and what a new version to look for with a fun spin on it, then here we go with Kinetic Edge. A game that looks like it could be a Marble Madness for a new age with all of the lights and sounds we would expect in a cyberpunk setting. That looks to be the elevator pitch and what we have to look at for Kinetic Edge right now. Well, if you mix in the release date of February 5th on the PC and the various modes we can play in the game too. Then you have the basics of what we are about to dive right into here. Hold onto your gaming mice…

On top of the trailer, we get to see the various gameplay modes in Kinetic Edge that will span over the single-player and multiplayer settings in the game. The traditional race, a survival mode, a golf game, a Maze mode, and an area where we will try to best each other for dominance of the sphere. Even if some of the physics in Kinetic Edge here do look a little wonky. That could be just how the trailer shows it all off and not how the final version of the game will be. That is what I will hope for before digging further into any of the other minutiae we can take in right now.

Kinetic Edge — Features

Seacorp Technologies is excited to announce that Kinetic Edge — a physics-based racer, with marvelously manic multiplayer and some seriously standout neon visuals — will launch on Steam for PC on Friday 5th February 2021.

Serving as a fun experience with friends or single-player, Kinetic Edge charges you with controlling a variety of shapes and objects to complete in multiple game modes and challenges. After a year of big-budget, open-world epics dominating gamers’ time, Kinetic Edge offers a perfect pick-up-and-play alternative, allowing players to switch off for some pure, arcade-style fun.

Kinetic Edge includes:

  • Kinetic Race — Race with friends to get the best time or against others online.
  • Kinetic Arena — Knockout other players to make them lose points and stay in the green zone for maximum points gain.
  • Kinetic Survival — Increasingly difficult challenges knocking out players, last to remain wins.
  • Kinetic Golf — A physics crazy golf game you can play with friends.
  • Kinetic Maze — A procedurally generated level that constantly changes. Currently, there are three types of maze varying in size; 10x10 20x20, and 50x50. Maze’s are color-coded and have a distance meter to help out but you will have to navigate it to find the exit. Be sure not to follow the wrong friend because they can lead you to a dead-end!
  • Kinetic Gauntlet Single-Player & Multi-Player — Can you complete the gauntlet? Seven minutes, one life, and no checkpoints. The Gauntlet is a super hard level that will test your abilities to the max within Kinetic Edge. Gauntlet also comes with Gauntlet training mode with multiple checkpoints and a slower pace for you to practice before the real deal.

Do you agree that Kinetic Edge looks like some of those older games that used to frustrate us more years ago or will it truly shine here? Do you think that we will be able to go through all of the modes in single-player with AI or will some only work with other players are the keyboard? Do you agree that some of the physics do not seem to line up or could we just not know what is going on in this video? let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you will. If there is anything more for Kinetic Edge, we will try to share it here. Just keep checking back for that and everything else we have going on.
