Fresh out of the PAX Online reveals, we have a release date set down for Ghostrunner here in October for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Not only that, but a chance to hop into a beta version of the game a bit before we get the final build from One More Level. That will only be on the PC for now, but that does not change anything for all of the other platforms for Ghostrunner. The beta hitting us on September 29th for those selected in the process. Those that miss out on that or looking for the game on the console, you will have your chance on October 27th.
Going along with this announcement also comes along a new trailer for Ghostrunner for us to take in to see what we will experience in over a month. A lot of hardcore slashing and hacking in multiple ways throughout the game's world and environments. Something that looks like a perfect look at a cyberpunk setting that is all the rage as of late. Have a look at the latest for Ghostrunner and then get ready to see the game launch. It looks like it will be a fast-paced and dark bit of fun.
Ghostrunner — Pax 2020
Ghostrunner is a hardcore FPP slasher packed with lightning-fast action, set in a grim, cyberpunk setting of a futuristic mega-structure. Climb Dharma Tower, humanity’s last shelter after a world-ending cataclysm. Make your way up from the very bottom to the top, confront the tyrannical Keymaster, and take your revenge.
One-hit-one-kill mechanics make the combat fast and intense—use your superior mobility (and frequent checkpoints!) to fearlessly engage in a never-ending dance with death.
Are you up for getting in on the beta for Ghostrunner here or will you be holding off until the full release? Do you think it will flow as well as the trailers are showing it or will it be based on how we can handle it more? Do you think that October is getting overcrowded now or is it a nice spread for us all to have? Let us all know down in the comments what you are thinking and then feel free to discuss. As we get more for Ghostrunner, we will add it all to the site for you. Just be sure to keep checking in for all of that.
