One more delay has hit Serious Sam 4 and we will be getting back into the Serious Sam universe this coming September
A new delay has seemed to hit Serious Sam 4 now and we will not be seeing the title in the likes of August here. It is not the biggest surprise given the world we are in, but it is something that cannot be easy for Croteam to make the call on. PC gamers all over have to be sad now that we will not see Serious Sam back in action this month. Thankfully, though, we do have a date in site for when we will be blasting away and defending Earth from everything. That date is now September 24th and the team is claiming that it is for real this time. I am sure that is to play into the playful way they are but hopefully that things have gone closer to the gold side of release too.
Sadly, there is not much more to say for Serious Sam 4 as of right now beyond that. There is a nice and fun video to go along with this announcement but nothing that shows us more gameplay or what to expect when September finally does roll up on us. Let us just hope that nothing else hits the team and causes more delays. Then we can be certain that our pre-orders for Serious Sam 4 will be still good for that timeframe and not something kicked down the line every other month as it feels. I am sure it will all be worth the wait, though.
Serious Sam 4 — Release Date [For Real This Time]
Croteam and Devolver Digital previously announced that the high-powered prequel Serious Sam 4 will unleash both barrels of chaos on Steam and Google Stadia in August 2020, but it turns out we totally meant to say Sept. 24. Serious Sam fans can circle-strafe over to serioussam.com and pre-order now.
Humanity is under siege as the full force of Mental’s horde spreads across the world, ravaging what remains of a broken and beaten civilization. The last remaining resistance to the invasion is the Earth Defense Force led by Sam “Serious” Stone and his heavily-armed squad of misfit commandos.
