Take A Trip Behind The Scenes With Marvel’s Iron Man VR

Iron Man

A new behind the scenes video for Marvel’s Iron Man VR gives us a little more insight on how the team is making this Iron Man game fly

Some of us out there have a burning desire to know how Marvel’s Iron Man VR is being built and a little more of the process the team went through to get the game to where it is. It will not be for everyone here, but Camouflaj is here to offer up more of that information and fun to keep us looking forward to July 3rd to finally get here. I know I am excited to become Iron Man on the PSVR when that rolls around, but it was also interesting to learn here that it almost never came to be as we see here. Well, more than the team almost did not get to build it for various reasons. You know, a bit of the normal stuff we find out about in the development process.

Yes, it looks like this version of an Iron Man game almost never was. Given that they are a small team with not much clout to start with, it would be a risky choice to go with them to give us this experience. Further, when you see it is going to be in the VR scope. Something that is still emerging for all platforms and can be a hard sale for many out there. Thankfully, it does look like Marvel’s Iron Man VR can be that title to sell more of the hardware and the game in general. Have a look for yourself and see just about what I am talking about here. Maybe you will get the development itch as I do and enjoy seeing how the game was made.

Marvel’s Iron Man VR — Creating Iron Man In VR

Sit down with the development team and learn how they've built an original Iron Man universe within Marvel’s Iron Man VR. Stand on the helicarrier bridge and come face-to-face with iconic characters, such as Nick Fury, and use the PlayStation Move motion controllers to take control of Iron Man’s armor and abilities.

Do you think that it would have been a truly hard sale to get Iron Man done in this way or do you fully see how it would have been rough here? Do you think that this could be a good starting point for more looking to get into VR? Will you be picking this up based on what we know thus far or will you need more than this and the small demo that is out there to get you fully on board? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more to share for Marvel’s Iron Man VR, you know we will have it all here. Just be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and more.
