Resident Evil
More changes are coming to Resident Evil 3 than we thought as this Resident Evil gets further updated before its April release
Just when you think we have all the updates for Resident Evil 3 at this point, it seems that more flows out there. We just had an update from Capcom on just what would be going on in the game as it is remade, but in the most recent issue of Famitsu it seems that a few more tidbits have been let out of the Umbrella secure servers. Which, given that the game is currently 90% complete, makes a little bit of sense but also no sense as you would think they would want to push for Resident Evil 3 to sell out well before the April 3rd release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I guess we will find out…
Last week, we reported about there being more of an action orientation to Resident Evil 3 than before. This was defined in the new look for Jill that model Sasha Zotova has been used for here. This lends well to the over-the-shoulder camera that has been confirmed for the game even if the story is being altered to give us a better narrative than we had before. Maybe this is why Carlos has been remade in look but not demeanor and why Brad was given a whole overhaul in this Resident Evil. I guess we will see more on how it has been altered to make it one of the better installments into the franchise but with enough to keep us all feeling familiar as we just did with the last title.

Similarly to re:2, the game will follow the original, but there will be alterations and things will be rearranged so that those familiar with the original could also enjoy it.
The game is 90% ready; Kawata promises there will be no delays. The master copy is fairly ready.
For those whom may have missed out last week, here is the video that was placed out before this latest interview that went into some of this information. They really did not touch on the other characters in Resident Evil 3 before, nor that the overall theme of the titles is around "escaping." That is what the codename for the game was during development. Well, "Escape" being more direct but it seems to be what the action theme is going to be for this one and the accompanying Resident Evil Resistance as well. Not too long until we get to see it all in motion, though.
Resident Evil 3 — Special Developer Message
Resident Evil 3 returns to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3rd, 2020. Experience Jill Valentine’s encounter with the unrelenting Nemesis in this survival-horror classic remade from the ground up.
It also includes Resident Evil Resistance, a new 1 vs 4 asymmetrical online multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe. Cooperate as one of four Survivors or as a twisted Mastermind attempting to stop them at every turn.
Are you surprised by any of these updates for Resident Evil 3 or does it make sense for them to try to remove the parts that did not work from the first version? How do you think the story will be changed to make it a stronger one in the franchise and yet still fitting? Were you hoping for a shot for shot remake or are you glad that it is all changing up? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. For more on Resident Evil 3, be sure to keep checking in here. It seems like details are going to be slowly flowing out there for this one.
