The Surge 2
The launch trailer for The Surge 2 is almost here and we will see better graphics for The Surge 2 on the Pro and One X systems
Next week marks when The Surge 2 will be dropping on the world with all of the limb-severing action we have been promised and seen so far. If you have been following along this whole time, then this is not big news and you have known that September 24th will bring the game to your PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Deck 13 has offered up so much for the game before then that we have been able to take in. Now we have a new trailer for The Surge 2 to celebrate the game. That and also a bit of news for those that will be picking up the game on the PS4 Pro or Xbox One X systems. I bet you can guess where this is going…
As should be expected here, The Surge 2 will offer up some better visuals for those playing on the higher end consoles mentioned there. You will be able to experience the whole game in 4K at 30 FPS if that is how you wish to play and have the ability to. It will be an upscaled version of all of that, but still available. For those that do not want to go the 4K path for The Surge 2, you will also be able to experience it all at 1080p and 60 FPS there. That seems like it should be standard all around, but it was a bit of extra news to drop with the launch trailer, so you will take it and you will like it.
The Surge 2 — Launch Trailer
The Surge 2 is almost upon us, so get ready to pick apart all who stand in your way with brutal elegance on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC when it releases September 24. Deck 13 and Focus Home Interactive are pleased to announce that Action-RPG The Surge 2 will support 4K gameplay on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. Witness the beautifully grotesque fusion of man and machine in detailed splendor!
The City of Jericho crumbles from within, as its various districts are populated by addicts, gangs, and hostile nanomonstrosities. With weapon in hand and drone in tow, explore the dystopian megacity either in upscaled 4K at 30fps, or fluid 60FPS at 1080p on both PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
The combat is intense. With 80 weapons to choose from, a directional parry system, dodge mechanics, drones, and a huge range of brutal execution moves, you can approach combat in the way that suits your playstyle. Charge in and pound your enemies into submission with punching gloves or sting like a bee using the spear.
