Death Stranding
The release date for Death Stranding is now set down and we have a whole lot of new gameplay to take in to help us determine if we are pre-ordering Death Stranding
Here we go with some news that I do not think anyone expected, as Death Stranding now has a solid release date for us to look towards and a whole lot of new gameplay to take in. It was teased that we would be getting something today and now we are here with Kojima Productions placing a November 8th release date down for the game. Get your PS4 ready by then so you can fully experience the bizarre nature that Death Stranding seems to be bringing with it. Given who is all involved, it does not surprise me in the slightest that even with a whole lot of new gameplay it is still shrouded in mystery.
Yes, you read that correctly too. In addition to the release date for Death Stranding, we also have a nice eight minutes of gameplay and in-game footage to take in. Some of it is straightforward as there will be some melee combat and firearms in the game. It also would not be a Kojima game without some of the new vehicles and stealth mechanics mixed in. We also get a feel for what the babies we have seen in the past will do within Death Stranding. It feels like there will be two different worlds and they will help us further bridge the connection between them and other players of the game. Something that is hinted at in the trailer here but no final details are expanded upon.
With all of that, and the release date now set, we also have a look at the different bundles you can pick up for Death Stranding. There are some traditional pre-order bonuses to go along with them, but the "big daddy" of them all has to be the Collector's Edition that comes with the cargo case we see Sam carrying around and a statue of one of the Bridge Babies. It is even listed as a full-sized statue, so get ready to explain to your friends that do not know Death Stranding why you have a baby in a jar sitting on your shelf. You know, normal conversation starters.
