Just Cause
The next DLC for Just Cause 4 is coming this July and will have a whole swarm of enemies for the Just Cause crew to take on
It looks like things are getting even stranger in the world of Just Cause 4 as we have a new look at the next upcoming DLC for the game and it looks like the world is truly going to Hell. That is, in the story, the Black Hand have released ancient demonic forces into the world and it will be up to Rico and crew to fix it all. Even if it seems like it will be all located on the island in the game, not something that will truly destroy the world. Ancient evils and all that. Although it does sound and look like it can make for some fun new gameplay in Just Cause 4 when all is said and done.
This DLC will also offer up a new weapon and supply drop to fit with the new setting created, and it will also bring back some of that liberation gameplay fans of Just Cause 3 will remember. All to mix in some new missions that will somehow fit into it all and not overtake other parts of the game if you are not actively trying to go down this DLC rabbit hole. How Avalanche Studios is pulling that off is beyond me, but we will see for certain on July 3rd. June 26th for those who have the Golden Edition or the Expansion Pass already in their mitts.
Just Cause 4 — Los Demonios
When Rico & Javi, investigate a newly discovered temple off the shore of Solis, an archaeologist working with the Black Hand unexpectedly releases an ancient demonic force from its imprisonment.
A parasitic infestation now spreads across Solis, terrorizing its inhabitants and attacking any Black Hand forces that stand in its way. Rico must tackle a horrifying new threat and seek out answers to eradicate the demon invasion from the island permanently, before it’s too late!
Discover a completely new sandbox gameplay experience with Los Demonios, as demonic hordes, pulsing tendrils and spore-filled clouds infest the towns and people of Solis in an exciting new supernatural addition to Just Cause 4.
Face the demons across new missions that will require all the skills and tools at Rico’s disposal to emerge victorious. Vicious demons spit corrosive projectiles, possess soldiers, and even take over military vehicles and turn them against Rico.
Seamlessly integrating into the Just Cause 4 sandbox, the new missions enhance the crazy open world experience further and provide a return to the popular liberation gameplay of the Just Cause 3. Introducing new weapons and equipment to unlock, including the Demon Crossbow and Demon Egg Supply Drop, Los Demonios lets you take the new tools of destruction into the open-world sandbox of Just Cause 4 for explosive new action-packed moments of glorious mayhem.
What thoughts do you have on Just Cause 4 going down this path here and does it make sense for this over-the-top franchise? How do you think it will seamlessly blend into the massive sandbox the game already offers? Will this be handled in some new way that we have yet to see in the game or will it only show up where certain missions are active? Let us all know down in the comments and then discuss. As we learn more for Just Cause 4 and how it is evolving, we will add it all here. Just be sure to keep checking back in for all of those updates and more.
