So over a month ago, I reported on a game adaptation of the Film Saw. I was really excited, but reports are coming in that it was just given the cut, pardon the pun, much like 20 people from Brash Entertainment. A very sad thing, for both those 20 and the gaming community. Hey, it is always bad when a game that could be awesome gets cut. At least I thought it would be awesome. But that's me.

This doesn't seem to be the end though. Well at least through speculation.

The game was apparently well along it's way to being done. They were even recording voice overs for the game when the the proverbial saw cam hacking along. Meaning that it was most likely on the verge of going into the final phases before launch. Which leads a lot of interweb readers to believe that it might get the Ghostbusters treatment. That being another company picking up the IP to finalize it for the world and release it. Time will only tell for it. I truly hope that the game does come to fruition, but then again I am a huge fan of the franchise.
