A new gameplay trailer for Underworld Ascendant is here just before its E3 showing and with it comes the release window for Underworld Ascendant
Let us all make sure to hold nothing back for E3 this year as we have another trailer out there and this one is for Underworld Ascendant. Okay, maybe not the biggest or most hidden of game announcements out there but OtherSide Entertainment has been working hard on the game for a while now and we should take note of it in the mix of all of the other big PC games getting the fancier shows out there. Especially now that it is known that Underworld Ascendant will be dropping for everyone in September now and will be bringing it with it all of the Action-RPG elements some gamers have been craving for a bit. At least in terms of a fantasy RPG setting and such. Gamers are very fickle in what they are looking for in their games after all. Like I need to remind you of that.
Anyways, we have a nice new trailer for Underworld Ascendant to show off more of the actual gameplay in the game and how the talents of the developer's pasts are getting linked up for this future title. Do not think I do not see you Thief and Ultima. I see you in there for Underworld Ascendant and it looks like it all of the best gameplay mechanics so far. At least that is the hope as all of the franchise from the developer's history had some great mechanics and we could also use a nice blending of them all. Underworld Ascendant — E3 Trailer
A new gameplay trailer and screenshots debuted today for Underworld Ascendant, the first major title from OtherSide Entertainment, an independent game developer founded by industry legends Paul Neurath (Ultima Underworld, Thief) and Warren Spector (Deus Ex, Epic Mickey). The trailer also revealed that the long-awaited return to the Stygian Abyss will launch in September this year.
Published by 505 Games, Underworld Ascendant will return players to a memorable and breathtaking fantasy realm rife with danger and full of intrigue. The game encourages and rewards player experimentation, boasting an environment that reacts dynamically to player choices and a wide range of items, skills, and abilities that affords players meaningful gameplay decisions. OtherSide is innovating upon the player-authored gameplay of the original series in bold new ways to bring the ‘immersive sim’ genre forward in this action-RPG.
Underworld Ascendant will be playable for all attendees of E3 at the Alienware booth #647 from June 12-14.
