Earthfall
The official release date for Earthfall is now set and we can all look to be playing Earthfall on our systems by July of this year
It looks like it is time for Earthfall to leave that Early Access and to move right along to a full release. Not only that, but a full release on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 now that Holospark has finally set down the release date for the game and it is now heading to us on July 13th. Yes, you will soon be able to save humanity from the alien invasion in the Pacific Northwest with everyone else in Earthfall and not have it be a "work in progress" anymore. Not that gamers have not had fun playing the game in that setting thus far, but it is always great to see our games move on to the full release instead of early access.
Now that we know the "when," what else do we need to know about Earthfall before then? Well it will be coming at us in two different editions; Standard and Deluxe. The standard will run you $29.99 USD while the Deluxe will be the usual $10 more at $39.99 USD. It will include exclusive character biohazard suits and weapon skins for the increased price so if you are into that kind of thing for your Co-Op Team-Shooters, you can have it. You know what you like and will pay what you need to to have the Earthfall experience you are looking for. At least that is the hope in today's age now is it not?
Earthfall — Release Date Announcement
Seattle-area developer Holospark announced today that they will release their multiplayer cooperative team-shooter, Earthfall, on July 13 digitally on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam, with Gearbox Publishing distributing the game in physical boxed retail. Earthfall has players working together to fend off an alien invasion of the Pacific Northwest — using squad-tactics, portable heavy weaponry, "instant" walls, and more tools as they avoid swarms of horrific intergalactic invaders.
Earthfall will be available on July 13, 2018 for $29.99 USD, with a special Deluxe Edition also available for $39.99 USD, which will include exclusive character biohazard suits and weapon skins.
In Earthfall, aliens have invaded the Pacific Northwest — and it’s up to you and your friends to fight back! In this co-operative shooter for up to four, players must use team-based tactics to fortify holdouts and complete mission objectives. With an arsenal of 3D-printed weaponry, portable barricades and heavy turrets, players must work together to drive back the alien menace.
Earthfall will feature ten missions across two campaigns, with diverse environments and deadly aliens to battle. As players fight waves of drones and towering monsters, they’ll discover the story behind the cataclysmic alien invasion — and exactly what horrible secrets the invaders are hiding.
Have you been enjoying Earthfall so far and are excited to see a full launch here in a few months? Is this the first time you are seeing and hear about the game and are now intrigued to see what this multiplayer game will hold for you? Do you think it looks like a Sci-Fi version of Left 4 Dead or is that me just reading into the basics more than I should? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. As we gather more for Earthfall, we will have it on the site here for you to ingest. Be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and more.
