Watch Dogs 2's San Francisco Gets Even Larger With The Season Pass

Watch Dogs 2

The full contents of Watch Dogs 2's season pass have been outlined and it looks like hours of Watch Dogs 2 gameplay will be added

Just about two weeks now and Watch Dogs 2 will be in our homes and on our PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC. We've seen a whole lot of hypes and gameplay here for the game and now it is time to see a bit more. Well, a bit more in terms of content that you can get if you pick up Watch Dogs 2 and its Season Pass content as that is what we have here for you. It looks like things go even further here for the game as Ubisoft looks to add not only some fun visual additions and side missions to the game but also a few extra hours to the overall story of Watch Dogs 2. Yes, there will be some extra story missions in if you are willing to drop the extra cash to pick up this Season Pass.

Let's get the usual comment out of the way here…why do we have to pay extra for story missions that are already going to be built? Sadly the answer here is that they aren't ready yet and will come after Watch Dogs 2 releases so it will be paying for the extra work that is being put in on getting them done. Personally I would have rather seen a delay in the game to have it all added right in from the start but that just doesn't seem the Ubisoft way when it comes to IPs they completely own and control. Thankfully though it is added into all of the other content for the Season Pass and looks to add at least three hours to the story of the game if you so pick it all up. This makes it a little more worth the purchase now.

Also mixed in will be a few other side missions with other iconic characters from the Watch Dogs universe to give us all that extra level of mayhem we should be craving. That and it looks like those pre-order bonuses will be mixed in as well as the Zodiac Killer mission will be part of a Day One DLC drop for those who own the Season Pass or the Gold Edition, or higher, of Watch Dogs 2. I mean, that stands to reason as the Season Pass is bundled into all of the non-standard bundles of the game but it's nice to know that even if you pick the bundles up after launch you will still have access to those pre-order incentives. If you are into those kinds of things at least.

Watch Dogs 2 — Season Pass

  • T-Bone Content Bundle: Players will get the style and the swagger of legendary hacker Raymond “T-Bone” Kenney with his truck and outfit, and they’ll discover Mayhem — a new co-op difficulty level that will pit players against a new enemy archetype armed with advanced weaponry.
  • Human Conditions: Through several hours of additional mission content in three new world stories, players will uncover San Francisco’s biggest scandals on the cutting edge of science, medicine, and misuse. In Human Conditions, players will also experience new elite co-op missions and face a new enemy type: Jammer, with the technology to hunt players down.
  • No Compromise: Players will experience an all-new world story which mixes Marcus up in the seedy underbelly of San Francisco and puts him in the crosshairs of the Russian mafia. Also includes a new co-op mode: Showd0wn, where only the best players survive.
  • Root Access Bundle: Includes full sets of outfits, new cars, a drone skin, and a new weapon, as well as the Zodiac Killer mission.
  • Psychedelic Pack: Customize Marcus’s outfit, weapon, drone, and car in the grooviest style.

What do you think about the content revealed here for the Watch Dogs 2 Season Pass? Do you think it is still a horrible practice to bundle in story missions for a Season Pass out of the gate when they could have been placed in a slightly delayed title? Do you care at all or will you already be throwing down the cash to secure all of this before it comes? Let us know your thoughts on it all in the comments and discuss away. For more on Watch Dogs 2 as we get closer to November 15th and beyond, be sure to stay right here. We'll have it all up on the site in due time; or at least as soon as it is revealed to the public at large.
