Fallout 4
The third add-on for Fallout 4 releases soon and now we have our first look at Fallout 4's Far Harbor DLC filled with more than meets the eye
The next add-on for Fallout 4 has been given a solid release date now and it looks like we will all be traveling up to Maine on May 19th now. This won't be some little trip either as the Far Harbor DLC happens to be one of the largest add-ons to a game that Bethesda has ever undertaken. That means don't expect only an hour or so added onto the Fallout 4 fun but hopefully a whole lot more. None of that has been officially detailed so we can only expect it to add on quite a chunk of time and not just a new little section of the world to roam.
It doesn't sound like there is going to be a shortage of things to do from the description of the DLC here. It looks like not only do we get the new landmass in Fallout 4 but it also comes with a slew of new faction quests, settlements to explore, lethal creatures, and new "dungeons" to try and survive. Given the setting I don't think dungeon should be the word used but it is what we are getting. All in the vein of being brought to Far Harbor to try and bring peace and earn loot along the way. One or the other…it should be worth it…
Fallout 4 — Far Harbor
In Far Harbor, a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost?
Currently the Far Harbor add-on for Fallout 4 is slated to release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC world wide on May 19th. It is slated to cost us all $24.99 USD so you know it has to be filled with quite a bit of goodies to counter the higher cost here. It sounds like there already is and from the trailer above it does look like a great extra adventure. I guess we will all see once it drops and players are able to explore the already huge world that is present in Fallout 4 already…and then some. Keep it all flowing out there for us Bethesda.
Are you hyped and ready to travel to a new location in Fallout 4 with this DLC? How many extra hours of gameplay do you think are going to be added on with Far Harbor here? Given the price do you think that this add-on should have been saved for a full expansion or will it be "just right?" Let us know and feel free to discuss in the comments below. For all things Fallout 4 and all of its DLC/add-ons be sure to stay right here on the site as we will bring you everything that is presented under the sun for it.
