Homefront
A new trailer for Homefront: The Revolution has been released and it is set to prepare us for Homefront's single player and co-op with guerilla warfare
Looks like we have another class to attend and this time it is learning all of Homefront: The Revolution's guerrilla warfare we will need to employ to bring down the KPA. That is that we have another new trailer from Dambuster Studios for the game and it shows off some new gameplay features that we will have on top of the normal sneaky tactics we usually use in FPS titles. Some of which make Homefront look like another huge home-run for Deep Silver to claim when the game finally launches on May 17th this year.
The most interesting thing here for Homefront: The Revolution is the fact that you can modify your weapons to fit your needs on the fly. Need a fully automatic weapon at one turn and then a sniper rifle at another? Looks like you can do mostly that while running from location to location without the need to return to a "home base." It sounds a bit off but when you see it in practice it looks like it could be something that many other franchises may pick up to suit their needs. Got to love no down time to alter your gear.
Homefront: The Revolution — Guerrilla Warfare 101
Not completely new to video games is also going to be the need to use the world to your advantage in the normal guerrilla tactics that are being employed. This also includes the addition of in the field crafting of items and gear. So while you are gunning down the KPA in Homefront: The Revolution you will also need to loot all of their bodies and gear just to make sure you always have what is needed to kill the next wave. Of course this is all available back at the home base but having it on the fly will keep you in the battle that much longer.
What do you think about these new gameplay mechanics for Homefront: The Revolution? Are you impressed with the on the fly modifications you can do to your weapons? Are you surprised at all that we will have live crafting for explosives as we run and gun? Let us know and discuss away in the comments below. As we get more on Homefront: The Revolution in any form we will bring it right to you. Be sure to stay right here so you don't miss out on a thing.
