The Walking Dead
The Walking Dead: Michonne's first episode is now out and we have a new trailer to celebrate this new bit being added into The Walking Dead comic storyline
The wait is now over as the first episode of The Walking Dead: Michonne is now out on almost all of the platforms it has been developed on. Sooner or later Telltale Games will be able to hit everything in all regions all at once but until then we will have to deal with a very slight lag time between the general major platforms and the mobile platforms. There is already so much of The Walking Dead on the later it is probably not that noticed when there is a few days in delay so maybe it isn't that big of a deal. At least not to all.
Anyways, as with all of the episode releases for their properties The Walking Dead: Michonne has a nice new trailer that shows off even more of the episode than some of you may want. As if the first six minutes of the episode wasn't enough now we get to see some of the extra tension and "big bads" that the titular character is going to have to deal with in the game. Of course it won't be any of the ones in the comics as this is all during the time when Michonne wasn't in the story there. I am curious to see who and how it plays out.
The Walking Dead: Michonne — In Too Deep
Given the fact that this is canon to the overall story of The Walking Dead, and we have been assured this from Telltale Games, we can be sure that Michonne won't die and we won't be bringing back any more characters that she didn't when she came back into the story. I am a bit curious on how this mini-series will be able to give us a true freedom of choice though and still keep the continuity that they are aiming for. Can't really have a story branch in the game when we all should know where The Walking Dead: Michonne begins and ends based on the story so far in the graphic novels. That will be the true challenge here.
Are you amped to play the first episode of The Walking Dead: Michonne? Are you as curious as I am to see how Telltale Games works around the limitation of the bookends already in place? How much more messed up could we see Michonne's life get in The Walking Dead here? Let us know and discuss away in the comments below. As we get more on The Walking Dead or any of the other IPs the developer is working on we will have it all here. Be sure to stick around so you can stay as up to date as we are.
