I will apologize now if my next few news articles come straight out of Comic-Con 2008 or tie ins. I was way to busy to keep things up to date while I was there, but I will do my best to get it all out there in my personal Blogs and here as well. That aside...

This is some new stuff I caught on this very much hyped game from EA. They had a spectacular booth and panel for this game. With a dude in the full on armor shown in the trailers. Kudos to that guy for braving exhaustion all for the sake of gaming.

This first bit is a commercial/trailer for the cartoon leading up to the game. Yes, a full on BluRay cartoon for the game. EA isn't pulling any punches for this. This looks pretty cool as well. Ok, really fucking cool. It had me stop at a crowded booth saying, "Hey, what the fuck is that?" Then the Dead Space logo popped up. So I went further to find out more.

Looks like a mixture of a few things that have been done before, but in a pretty cool way. Let me elaborate. First, creepy horror things going on in a space ship that no one has heard from in a while. Crew has gone crazy and is killing each other. Looks and sounds quite a bit like Event Horizon to me. Then it goes further to show that us arrogant humans decided to take some stuff from another culture that we have no right to do. It is in fact some crazy "virus" thing that is making people go all bug-shit-crazy. Ghosts of Mars anyone? Or was I the only person who saw that flick? In any instance, that story seems to get mixed in. Then you got the whole needing humans as hosts to propagate the "virus." With the exploding from chests included. BAM! Aliens as well. See how it al works now.

Now that you have seen that, or completely skipped it because you hate me, that will be the lead up and back story for the game. The following is a new trailer for said game. It will show a bit more about the game play and kind of a weird creepy look at it. It is also supposedly called the "Lullaby Trailer" as well, for reasons that will be obvious to you if you had a small part of a standard childhood. Orphans need not apply I guess. Aliens should apply either.

Oh, here's a fun fact, American's aren't suppose to have seen this trailer either. Mainly because the government didn't give the okay for it, but I won't rat you out for watching. The internet will do that before you are even done reading these words I am writing. Sorry. For all you non-US people, enjoy without the fear of the government kicking in your door at night and black bagging you. Only the yanks need worry.
