This Is How Dying Light Is Letting Legends Be Born

Dying Light

A new video for Dying Light has been released to explain the new Legendary Levels coming to Dying Light in February 2016

There are a slew of updates heading toward Dying Light here in short order. We all know there is the enhanced version that is coming with all kinds of bonuses from Techland and one of them is the new Legendary Level system the will let us take our character to higher heights than before. Not much has been said how it will work in Dying Light before now but, as you guessed it, now we have a bit more on what they are and what they will add to the overall game. Dying Light is about to get supercharged a bit.

First and foremost this will be part of the free updates and upgrades that are coming to Dying Light once The Following launches on February 9th. These new levels will unlock after you have reached max level in any of the three base skill trees in Dying Light and from that point onward you will be gaining XP towards these levels as well as the core trees. The perk to having these extra levels to rank up to in Dying Light is that they add on another 250 levels to alter the character along your path to salvation in the zombie outbreak.

In addition to all of those levels for every 25 levels that you land in the Legendary tree you will be granted new weapons, outfits, emblems, and skills to employ in Dying Light proper. So besides having more to customize with in terms of levels you will have more to customize with when it comes to how you look and what you use in Dying Light for all to see. Not a bad bit of update here from Techland when it all boils down for those not looking to purchase further DLC.

Dying Light — Become A Legend

“We listen closely to our community and hear many voices that people who did every single thing in Dying Light want more. Legendary Levels are one of the ways how we’re making the post-game content more meaty,” explains Maciej Binkowski, lead game designer. “We’re adding 250 additional levels, so you can keep on developing your character while unlocking new weapons, outfits, emblems, and skills. It means massive replayability.”
