Talk about one of the best blasts from the past coming to PS4. Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is the most recent HD remastering for Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and it is releasing tomorrow (7/22) on the PS4 in the North American region. Wednesday (7/23) for all those EU regional people and TBA this year for everyone else who wants to replay one of the games that started my next-gen-now-way-last-gen gaming love. That would be back on the PS1 days back in 1997. Damn I just dated myself.

Words cannot express how excited I am for Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty. I've been a huge fan of the franchise since the first game came out and while I wish Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty was a completely new game and not a remake, I'll gladly throw down my cash to replay this bit of gaming history. Also, hopefully, this will help fund a few completely new games to come to our next-gen consoles and high end PCs. That is at least the hope so we will have to wait and see.
