Below we have a nice, what looks to be like, in-game E3 trailer for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. This is the second full sequel to the original FFXIII and also slated to be the end of Lighting's story in the series. It does sound like they have plans to get rid of the character is some fashion, but it could also mean the end of Lightning as a main protagonist in the overall story.
Either way we will be finding out more here soon. If we do not, at least we can rest assured that the game is set to launch February 11th 2014.
