On top of all the story of the game, there will be some new co-op and multiplayer features. Not to mention all the same things I am sure that all the series fans will be used to.
"Terrorism has evolved, and so has Rainbow 6. In Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Patriots, all the team play, tactics, and realism that fans of the series love have been coupled with an exciting new narrative direction. This adds an unprecedented level of humanity that will make Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Patriots an extremely tense and immersive experience." said David Sears, creative director at Ubisoft. |
I don't know why, but I kind of find it humorous that a Canadian Dev team, French Canadian at that, is at the helm again for a game that takes place in the U.S. Not that I don't think they will do a good job with it, but it's funny to see a foreign nation developing a game that is based on some social commentary of the nation. In a sense they are making a game where the antagonists are American Government haters and the protagonists are following the orders of a government that I am sure will be shown as corrupt as well. Shouldn't we (Americans) be doing this? Like I said, I find it funny.
No matter how you slice it, look for Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Patriots sometime in 2013.
