Guitar Hero: Warrior of Rock will tout a full featured story mode narrated by and starring Gene Simmons of Kiss and Family Guy fame. The plot will feature the band starting at the famous New York rock club CBGB's and end with the Demi God of rock battling some nefarious beast. The game will also feature a new song penned by Megadeth front man Dave Mustane exclusively for GH:WOR. The first 35 songs have been announced and can be found below.

Like most of you who are reading this I fell in love with the concept way back when during the dawn of Guitar Hero 2. Like most gimmicky fads (snap bracelets, pogs, wheelies, Ska music, Sega Dreamcast) we have had these games shoved down our throats since its success. After over all the saturation people get bored and move on. You can do all the marketing you want, add all the stupid stories you want, get all the hack, washed up voice talent you want and it will still be pretty much the same game it was years ago. Only much, MUCH lamer.
