The film is not what this is all about though.
As we all know, with big budget epic film comes a video game based on the film. Which, from the new screen shots from the game below, looks to be loosely based off the film as well. I don't remember a single skeleton in the original Clash of the Titans, and I have yet to see on in any of the trailers for the new version. Maybe these are the side stories never told? Or made up to be never told? Who knows?
I will say that if it was not based on a film but truly original, the game looks like it could be decent. But of course it does have the stigma now of being a movie-based game, so it will have to produce quite a bit to get out of that special pit of Tartarus. Although it will be riding on the coat tail end of the God of War III release. So maybe everyone who beats God of War might still need a bit more Greek epicness. We'll see.
Clash of the Titans: The Videogame releases on March 26th. A mere week before Clash of the Titans: The Movie, April 2nd. Maybe to be followed by Clash of the Titans: The Flamethrower and Clash of the Titans: The Home Vasectomy Kit after that. If we are lucky.
