Making a Madden Comeback Michael Vick was signed as a backup quarter back for the Philidelphia Eagles yesterday.  After being suspended indefinitly from the NFL in 2007, the NFL decided to reinstate him for this season (conditionally) and let him play in the final 2 pre-season games.

I know what your thinking, what does this have to do with Video games.  For all you Madden 10 players you may have noticed that Vick is not in the game.  EA sports had stated that "I"It's official . . . Michael Vick NOT in Madden NFL 10 Roster Update #1. . . . Once he signs with a team, we will work to get him in there ASAP."  Well it looks like it's crunch time folks!

The development team over at EA sports have been working since the announcment to get started on Vick's character in game.  Players are probably thinking "why don't you just put the same avatar from 2007 into the game?"  well as true Madden fans know it's not that easy.  Stats and game rankings have changed since Madden 2007, they are using new features to make the game more realistic, it's almost as if they have to start from scratch.

So how long are players going to live without Michael Vick in game, Rob Semsey and EA spokesman speculates that Vick is going to be available for digital download by August 19th.
