The new expansion name will be called World of Warcraft: Cataclysm and the two new races will be Worgen for Alliance and Goblins for Horde. As we are no where near April Fools, I highly doubt this is similar to the Wisp race or Rocker class.
Players have been data-mining non-stop with recent patch data to discover as much as they can about the new expansion. There were earlier findings of Halloween masks, which had been found of the Goblins and Worgen races, both male and female, a little over two weeks ago. That was one of the largest indications. But now there is confirmation. WoW players can start getting their heirloom items as well as all sorts of mats and gold for the new races saved up. Class lists have yet to be announced but be sure if we hear anything it will be updated as soon as possible.
The question is, with the WoW community speculating and now actually being correct, is the world of Azeroth becoming too predictable? Or is Blizzard trying to give the community what it wants as best as it can? Let's see what suprises turn up with Blizzcon '09.
