Set Sail Into Some New Horrors With The Reveal For Senara: The Sacrament

Senara

The Senara is ready to set sail with us all with new horrors coming into our world within Senara: The Sacrament

Horror is hitting the seas once more with a new title on the way to the PC in the form of Senara: The Sacrament. A new horror title that Influsion is working on out there that will lock us into the world of a sealed ship. Not the normal grounds that we find ourselves in with the genre, but it has been used extremely well when it has been. As long as we can think about the few that have done it recently and were still set on Earth instead of taking it all to the stars. Senara: The Sacrament is looking to keep it on the seas while also giving us all reasons to not go anywhere near these ships that we know are out there. Unless you are that brave or that stupid to give them all a search…

Much like those other games with a similar setting of Senara: The Sacrament, we find ourselves trapped inside this 6000-ton ship where some weird things have gone down. Mostly in the past, but remnants of what went down are still wandering about and trying to make sure we do not make it out alive. Not wanting to meet our end out there, we will need to wander the ship, gather clues, shoot some weird entities on the Senara, and then escape to land again. Just your usual little ordeal that we see every day out there. Only that this one will offer up various endings to it all. Fingers are crossed that it will be a few truly different endings and not just some that are slight changes from each other along the way. I do wish it were easier to actually build in a different ending system into all of our games, but that would require some other darkness in the world that we are just not ready for.

Senara: The Sacrament — Reveal

Senara: The Sacrament is a first-person survival horror game set aboard a massive, derelict ship, where faith, fanaticism, and abyssal horror collide. Stranded on the Senara for reasons unknown, you must survive and escape as it teeters on the edge of ruin. Hidden cult rituals, forbidden truths, and survivors with their own agendas await you in the darkness.

Survival and Escape on a Sealed Ship

You must survive within the meticulously recreated interior of a massive 6,000-ton ship, facing limited resources and constant threats. Explore the structure, discover hidden passages, and gather clues to find the key to your escape.

Puzzle and Exploration-Focused Level Design

The densely designed spaces, based on a real ship, gradually open up as the chapters progress. Use items such as documents, equipment, and keys to unlock sealed areas and navigate the complex, intertwined corridors on your own. Ever-changing threats create fresh tension even within familiar surroundings.

Encounters with Constant Threatening Entities

Fanatics and bizarre, otherworldly beings relentlessly threaten you. You must use limited weapons, strategic stealth, and evasive maneuvers to avoid detection and survive.

Active Story Interpretation

The truth behind all events is scattered like pieces across documents, objects, and conversations between characters. Players must find and connect these fragments to construct the story for themselves. Depending on what you believe and how you interpret the clues, the story can unfold in entirely different directions.

Multiple Endings Based on Your Choices

Throughout your journey toward the end, you will face decisive moments of choice. These decisions affect not only your escape but also the fate of the Senara and the flow of truth. Only you can decide where this story ultimately leads.

How will the choices made on the Senara change things up in the end, and will it feel like our choices truly mattered out there? What do you suspect is the cause for all of the weird things to be roaming about out there, and will it be something we have yet to experience in gaming? How hard will these things be able to kill in the game, and will there be an end to them if we manage to hoard our resources correctly? Let us have that discussion in the comment portion of the page here. Senara: The Sacrament does look like it could be a fun addition to the universe out there, so we will do what we can to keep up on it. Just as we do with the many other indie titles out there. So, please keep on coming back to the website, and watch our social media so you are able to catch each of the updates that we can find.
