SAROS
A new bit of story is here for SAROS to show us all why it will be important to master the bullet ballet coming in SAROS
The story has stepped into the light a bit more for the upcoming SAROS. Showing off some of the characters and the nightmares that they are going to have to deal with when Housemarque is able to drop the game on the PS5 on April 30th. As long as you are in the market for a bullet heel kind of game that the team has been able to show they can make. This time, with SAROS, offering up a darker story than many might have expected. Especially as it seems that an eclipse will be at the center of all of that. One that will offer us all so much death and keep the world shifting as we make sure we are not being hit by any of the deadly orbs out there. We weren't talking about actual bullets here when it comes to this hell.
Weirdly, all of the above feels like what we have here for the story in SAROS as of right now, even with the following video we have for the game. It is a short little burst of things that don't truly link together in the minute and a half that they take to offer us anything. I'm not looking to have the full story of SAROS spoiled months before it releases, but outside of it being a third-person action title with the bullet hell mechanics, I'm still at a loss as to what the full story is going to be. Granted, their last title did about the same and had a rather gripping story built into it all, so there is the benefit of that. It just feels odd to have something that is supposed to highlight the story and the characters coming, while giving us nothing but a generic look at it all. Maybe I'm missing things, but that is how it is for me. Have a look and see if you can find the deeper story in the short video that is supposed to offer it up for us.
SAROS — Story
Beneath a haunting eclipse, survive Carcosa’s shifting dangers, master bullet ballet combat, and come back stronger after every death in Housemarque’s next evolution of third-person action.
Are you ready to dig into the story that will be coming with SAROS next year? Do you think that studios and publishers need to step up their story trailer videos? What do you think is the cause of the eclipse that will be twisting the world as we see it here? Is this truly a bullet hell game, or is that just a small genre that will be touched on with the broader scope of the title? Let's talk all about this in the comment section a little further down the page. We hope that we will have more for SAROS in the coming months, so please keep on coming back here in that time to see and hear about all of it as it comes. There are still a few more months to make sure we are all sold on the game, and maybe we'll have a deeper bit to the story in that time.
