GHOST CAM
The release date for GHOST CAM is now set, and we will have another reason to place the VR headsets on when GHOST CAM is live
Given that many might be getting a new VR headset out there during the holiday season, it looks like it was a good call to offer up GHOST CAM shortly after all of that. At least if that was the reasoning behind the release date, we now have for the game from Arch Rebels. It could all just be coincidence and just when the ghost hunting title is going to be ready, but GHOST CAM will be heading to the PC VR headsets on January 19th, 2026. Just after all of the hype dies down for the new hardware, users have had a chance to get better acquainted with it all. Maybe that will help them take better photos and find all of the strange horrors in the virtual space.
Those who might not have any knowledge of GHOST CAM might not be overly excited to see what is coming, so let's fill you all in and change some minds. This is a new VR experience where we will be wandering about a haunted house in the '70s and '80 looking to find what we can. All with the help of our trusty Polaroid camera that can spot them, and then spit out the photos as we take them. The true horrors seep in as things only appear in the viewfinder, and we'll also have to figure out a few puzzles along the way to survive what's going on in GHOST CAM. That is still a little bit of a mystery, but you can play a little demo of it all right now if you'd like to know more. You can also have a look at the latest announcement that we have for the game, just a little bit further down the page here. Have a look, and happy hunting.
GHOST CAM — Release Date
The haunted ghost photography game is coming to PC and VR on January 19!
In GHOST CAM, you play as a lone paranormal photographer exploring shifting, liminal spaces filled with ghostly traces and hidden secrets. Armed only with a Polaroid-style camera, you’ll capture spirits, uncover spectral remnants, and piece together escape-room-style puzzles to delve deeper into a twisting, haunted dreamscape.
Set against a surreal 70s/80s haunted horse girl aesthetic, GHOST CAM invites players into eerie stables, faded childhood memories, and corridors where ghostly hoofbeats linger just out of sight. Not all spirits are hostile; some will watch, some will guide, and some may trap you forever in their world. Your actions shape your Ghost Hunter ranking, unlock hidden mysteries, and determine which of the endings you'll uncover.
Inspired by modern psychological horror titles but crafted for a focused solo narrative experience, GHOST CAM delivers chilling atmosphere, emotional tension, and rich replayability. Players can immerse themselves in full VR or on a traditional screen.
Gameplay Features:
- Test Your Ghost Photography Skills - Wield your Polaroid-style camera to capture spirits and uncover ghostly traces, earning a Ghost Hunter ranking based on your actions.
- ’70s/’80s Haunted Horse Girl Aesthetic - Roam through a surreal blend of childhood horse obsession, heartache, and vintage horror. Set in liminal spaces where faded ribbons, dusty stables, and ghostly hoofbeats, the past lingers like a restless spirit.

- Puzzle-Filled Ghost Hunt - Use your camera to uncover hidden clues, piece together spectral remnants, and solve haunting escape-room-style puzzles to go deeper.
- Encounters With Many Spirits - Not all ghosts are hostile. Some watch, some guide, and some trap you in their world. If the spirits let you, you’ll unravel the truth beneath the surface.
- Different Endings & Replayability - Your choices matter. Different actions unlock new paths, ghost rankings, and hidden mysteries waiting to be discovered.
Have you been watching GHOST CAM before this little announcement we were able to share? Will it be nice to add a little horror to the New Year here? How will this one differ from other video games that have used a camera system to hunt down ghosts? Will the VR setting make it too immersive for you to experience, or will some of the lower-end visuals pull you back into reality? Let's have those thoughts and ideas in the comment section so we can all discuss them. Now that we have the when for GHOST CAM, we can expect a little more to flow out there for the game, most likely. We'll do what we can here to bring all of that to you, so please do all that you can to stick close to the site so you see it all. I'm sure this will be massive news for some out there.
