iList, Inc. has devised a new game that you play directly through Twitter. Much like the LiveJournal game "Infected" and other Facebook games, you use your social network account to involve your friends and family in an overarching social experience only through that application. Spymaster takes this and builds upon it. You can play solo and/or build spy networks with your Twitter followers. Another perfectly good reason to open up Twitter and check for the eleventh time today.
The press release is below and come back to Aggrogamer.com as a review for the game is in the works.
Spymaster Brings Social Gaming To Twitter San Francisco, California – (July 8th, 2009) – Spymaster, a new gaming application brings a “Facebook style” gaming approach to popular networking site, Twitter. San Francisco based start-up iList Inc. brings social gaming to Twitter by rolling out the Spymaster application. Spymaster brings a familiar Facebook style approach to Twitter by allowing players to use their followers to create a “spy ring”. Using their Twitter account, players manage their own spy ring with their friends and followers. Players must complete tasks in order to raise money for espionage equipment or order assassinations on other players or groups. The more friends and followers involved, the stronger the player will become against it competition. |
