Get Enchanted Under The Sea Next Year With Atomic Heart

Atomic Heart

The release date for Atomic Heart’s next DLC is set with Atomic Heart taking us even further underwater for the next big part of the story

The MOR-4Y was teased not too long ago for Atomic Heart and now we get to fully see and hear what the new DLC for the game is going to offer up. Not that Mundfish did not give us a great feeling for it all in the first place with a good chunk of it taking place underwater. Now, though, we get some actual gameplay for Atomic Heart as well as when to expect all of this to drop on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will not be before the end of the year but right out of the gate in 2025 with January 28th being the date we can dive on into the Neptune Research Center in the world of the game out there.

In the new DLC for Atomic Heart, we are obviously going to a different facility from the main story to learn more about why humanity was on the path to this dismal future. We will run into some new and old characters from the core story along the way while also seeing some of the older locations in the mix, somehow. I am sure it will all make sense once we get into the meat of it all, but it is interesting to note all of that. Especially given how some of the other stories and areas of Atomic Heart have played out in the past. Have a look at the explosive new video we have for the DLC and see if it is going to live up to your hype or sink to the bottom of the ocean floor where we might never see it all again.

Atomic Heart — Enchantment Under The Sea

Mundfish studio and Focus Entertainment just premiered the first gameplay trailer for Atomic Heart’s third DLC, “Enchantment Under The Sea,” revealing a Jan. 28, 2025, release date on all available platforms. This third installment in the Atomic Pass leaves Limbo behind and takes players back to Facility 3826 with the new underwater Neptune Research Center, as well as new weapons, glove abilities, and enemies to discover!

“Enchantment Under The Sea” goes back to the spectacular combat gameplay that made Atomic Heart one of the highlights of 2023, as players continue the main storyline with the Twins’ consciousness at their side and new weapons in their arsenal.

Meet new and returning characters while diving into the mysteries of the underwater Neptune Research Center to find a way to save humanity from a dismal future. Players will also revisit familiar locations from Facility 3826 that have changed beyond recognition, like the flying city of Chelomey, now under the robots’ total control.

With new challenges comes the need for new tricks! In addition to the expanded storyline, season pass owners get two new weapons: the Thunderclap, a powerful hammer that amps up damage with electrical current, and the KM-4 Kuzmich, a crowd-clearing double-barrel shotgun with a customizable bullet spread. They’re complemented by two new glove abilities courtesy of the Twins: Blaze, a burning polymer skill letting players drop red-hot fireballs and deal area-of-effect damage; and Whip, a grapple-hook tool allowing P-3 to pull himself towards enemies, deal damage, dodge away from danger, and access previously unreachable areas.

These new powers will come in handy when meeting the DLC’s new roster of sea-dwelling enemies, from swarms of coral mutants to the terrifying MOR-4Y.

Dive back into the strange, dystopian world of Atomic Heart on Jan. 28, 2025, when its third DLC, “Enchantment Under The Sea,” debuts on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.

Are you even more excited for this new bit to come to Atomic Heart out there or did you lose your place in the story and will need a refresher for it all? Will this all be part of some simulation to explain why we are seeing the old faces and locations again or just further proof humanity doomed itself? How powerful will these new weapons be in the game and will they be something you will want to play the core game again with? Swim on into the comment section below to let us and the world know what is on your mind for all of this. We have more for Atomic Heart on the way, so please keep an eye on the site and everything else as we head into the new year with all of the new news that is going to come along with it.
