The release date for The Cabin Factory is set down and we will all get to inspect some new things within The Cabin Factory
The cabin in the woods trope is a horror icon and used in so many stories, and now with The Cabin Factory, we kind of get to see how that comes to be in various ways. That is, this is a new PC game from International Cat Studios and Future Friends Games that will put us in the role of one of the inspectors for normal cabins who might also have to investigate some of those horror ones too. The latter being more of the focus in The Cabin Factory with so many of the haunted cabins coming along the line of the factory we are going to work in. It is a fun little quirky title that now has a release date of December 13th for those who might have this itch to scratch out there.
The premise of The Cabin Factory is fairly straightforward and will give us about an hour's worth of haunted experiences for those who want to take the plunge. We are an investigator in the factory and with each new build, we have to head into the new cabin to see if it is haunted. If it is now, we press the all-clear and send it out for someone to live in. In the instances where it is not, well, we need to make it back to the floor of The Cabin Factory and make sure we hit the 'danger' button so the cabin can be destroyed before it hits the market. Of course, it would not have a narrative to the game if some of the cabins were specifically haunted and gave us a long story as to what is going on and why any of them came out that way in the first place. That feels like it will be the bulk of the experience as we deal with the haunts and terrifying images as we try to make it back to the warehouse floor.

Welcome to The Cabin Factory - as a newly hired Cabin Inspector your job is to inspect the cabins and determine whether or not they are haunted.
Inspect the whole cabin:
- If haunted, turn back immediately and press 'danger'.
- Is safe, press 'clear'.
The Cabin Factory is a short horror anomaly-hunting experience (~60 minutes) inspired by liminal spaces and psychological horror walking simulators, like The Exit 8, Pools, and their virtual predecessor, P.T..
Does The Cabin Factory sound like a nice little adventure you are going to take out there or will it be something you let pass on by?
