Blindfire Turns The Lights Off For Some New Firefights On The PlayStation

Blindfire

The PlayStation version of Blindfire is out there for those who want to give the lights-out shooter of Blindfire a go

Those looking for a new twist on some FPS action out there on the PS5 can look no further than the latest for Blindfire. It looks as if the team over at Double Eleven have finally put on the last touches for the game to hit an Early Access state on the console after having a solid run in the form on the PC. Those who are into playing games from the ground up can now download the latest version of Blindfire on the console and start to see how it will be to play a multiplayer shooter title in full darkness. We are not talking about sitting in your blacked out caves but talking about the game itself is using that as a bit of a gimmick to stand out from the shadows of the giants out there who offer a basic gunplay game already.

While Blindfire does lean into the FPS style of gaming, the gimmick mentioned is that matches take place in pitch-black arenas. That is where the fun comes in as it will be muzzle flashes and other elements in the game that give away the enemy's position as well as your own during the matches. A nice little twist to things that will make it so we have to bring down our targets fast. Thankfully, if we do not do that and are taken out, the team is not making us just spectate the rest of the match. No, in Blindfire we will get to manipulate the game maps and get some sweet revenge by placing spotlights on targets and setting up other traps that can trip them up too. We just need to be careful with all that friendly fire in the mix so we do not accidentally cause our side to lose as we are getting that sweet revenge. Have a look at the game a little lower down and see if it is something you will be shaking up your life with now.

Have you been playing the Early Access for Blindfire on the PC already or is this the version you are going to be jumping into? How many trolls will this game pick up with the revenge mechanic or will players learn to play well with each other in general? Will there be a way to make sure players just do not crank up the brightness on their screens to get an advantage and will the character models only be rendered when they are needed? Fire off all of those thoughts into the comment section and then feel free to discuss it all. When we find more for Blindfire, we will share it all out there as soon as we can. Please keep on checking back in for all of that and everything else we can offer up in the gaming sphere.
