A Quiet Place
Go behind the scenes once more for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead to see how the stealth mechanics will function in the world of A Quiet Place
In A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, not only will we need to make sure we are quiet, but in many instances we are going to need to be able to stay hidden too. Even though the Death Angels in the world should be blind, it looks like there will be instances where Stormind Games has made it so they could bump into us in general. Sure, that could cause a sound but it would just be easier not to have that happen and keep all of the audio to a lower level in general. Thankfully, Saber Interactive has put together a bit of a video showing the tools and tactics we can take in A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead to make sure we are as silent as possible when the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 17th. Let us all go further behind the scenes for the game now.
As many would be safe to assume for a game in the universe of A Quiet Place, we are going to have all manner of ways to distract and cause sound away from us while also making sure we are not bumping things that will cause sound near us. Usual stealth mechanics for a game like this. In addition to all of this, we will have a device that will highlight the Ambient sound and our Personal sound so we can make sure we can take certain tasks in the game and not lead to a game over right away. Also, and thankfully, this story also takes place after the events of the original A Quiet Place and it is known that we can disrupt the Death Angels with loud sounds. A tactic we can use to save our lives and further distract the aliens so we can sneak past them. It is unclear if we will be able to fight back in the game, but it looks like this will all mostly be a stealth ordeal more than anything.
