Explore A Whole Lot More That Is Coming For S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chernobyl

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

A new deep dive for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chernobyl is out there to show off all we can expect when S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 launches

The wait for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chornobyl continues on after the most recent delay of the game. That, of course, does not mean that we do not have a whole lot more to look at here. A whole lot that GSC Game World has put together to help highlight what we can expect when it launches on November 20th for the PC and Xbox Series X|S. A true showing of why the one last delay was needed for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 as we get to see the vast swamp lands and other mechanics in play for the game now. Most of which will help to highlight the reason behind all of this waiting. Speaking of, let us stop waiting and dive deep into what the developers have to offer the world now.

There is a whole lot to take in for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 here that this new thirty-five-minute video dives into. Some of the highlights of it all are how the main quest of the game will, most likely, never play out the same twice when going through it all. There are so many different variations of how the world will come together and where it will lead the player along the way. Mixed with that will be the different choices for missions and dialog that we will have in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 that it will be next to impossible to play the same game twice. A nice little thing to have for a game that leans into the open world and realism aspects of it all. Once you ignore the phantom dogs and zombies part of it all, that is.

In addition to that realism, though, it does look like we are not only going to need to manage our weapons in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 but also our character's health and other states of well-being in the game. We are going to need to drink, eat, and sleep along the way. Neglecting one of these, or just not being able to due to the world being extra harsh, will impose some penalties on us during the gameplay. Just like if it was in the real world. Most of the time, this is not something I am keen on in my video games, but S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 here does make it feel like a feature and less of a bug. Have a look at how some of that is going to flow in the game and see some of the other bits of fun that have been offered up in this new deep dive from the team out there.

Time to dive in, stalkers!

After all of the delays, I can see why they were needed for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chornobyl. Not just based on the issues going on for the team in the real world, but also how much the team wanted to get into the game and make this a magnum opus to put their names on. Even just looking at the Great Swamps here, it looks like that would be the whole game in a nutshell. It is not and there is a whole lot more to explore and see in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. this here is why we should all be fine with delays and letting the team take the time to make a great game instead of harassing them to drop the game out there as soon as possible for your own instant gratification instead.

Where do you stand on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 after seeing all of this? Do you think the team is nailing what they set out to do or do you build up more hype than you should before now? Will we truly not be able to play the same experience twice in the mix of all of this or will there just be some specific paths we have to take that will deviate things in the story and quest? Head down to the comment section to discuss all of that and everything else we have to offer up for you. Please keep on coming back here for everything about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chernobyl. We have more in the works and you will certainly want to take all of that in before November rolls in here.
