Outlast
The full showing of the next update for The Outlast Trials is here with a deeper look at the latest villain stalking Outlast soon
We had the tease and now we get to see the new villain coming to hunt us in The Outlast Trials. That and a whole lot of other things that Red Barrels is updating in the game on July 16th on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Things like Franco Barbi and then the new map of The Docks and a few of the other MK Challenges we are going to have to survive in The Outlast Trials. Along with all of the questionable and sexual nature of some of the horrors, this one will bring. It is all about birth and rebirth, with all of the body parts we could expect to come with that. However, baby teeth are not exactly how I would have expected all of this to end…
As we assumed in the last video for The Outlast Trials, our villain is more of a man-child who will be using guns to hunt us a bit. How will they not kill us instantly? Well, it seems that the organization only gave him blanks to use but Franco has been using baby teeth in place of the projectiles. I am fairly certain that would still help end anyone out there but it is a darker explanation of how he is not just beating us with a gun instead. All of these will need to be managed while going through The Outlast Trials one more time with a lot of new story to take in for this one. Have a look and see how twisted this one will truly be out there next week.
The Outlast Trials — Project Lupara
Project Lupara has revolutionized our therapy. Face our newest gun-wielding villain, Franco “Il Bambino” Barbi in a new environment: The Docks. Gather your fellow Reagents or survive the Trials alone, if you can. 💥
The Project Lupara free update is coming to The Outlast Trials on all platforms on Tuesday, July 16th at approximately 10 AM ET. This update will also feature a new game mode, a new player ability, new MK Challenges, and much more!
See you in the Sleep room 💉
Play The Outlast Trials now on Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
All of this for The Outlast Trials does feel like it is going to be rather intense and I am curious to see how it balances out. Having a villain with a ranged weapon that sounds like it will do massive damage does sound like a bit of a one-sided thing. Maybe he only gets a shot or two given the design and how it was built. That would be the best way to balance while still offering up all of the nightmares of being hunted down and beaten by the character. One that does truly look and sound like they belong in the Outlast universe indeed. Even if it does feel like it is going to be a bit to get around all of the other imagery that will be coming and possible child endangerment.
Are you creeped out by this new addition to The Outlast Trials or will it become your new favorite to run from? Will it be balanced that Franco only gets a shot or two during the trial or will it be something else that will help us survive? Would it be possible to disarm and take the weapon at some point or will they have thought of that already? Run on down to the comments to discuss all of that and everything else that we have to offer up for this. There is still a whole lot more to come for The Outlast Trials, so please keep on checking back in for all of those updates and the many others we have still lined up for you. You will be horrified, to say the least.
