Anger Foot Takes Us All From Prototype To Perfection Before Launch

Anger Foot

One last look at Anger Foot is out there to show how much progress has been made on Anger Foot since it was first announced

We thought things had finally kicked off for Anger Foot as the development team took us a bit behind the scenes. It looks like we need to be booted in the head, as Free Lives is back to show us all what we are going to be getting on July 11th when the game lands on the PC. A bit of a behind-the-scenes for Anger Foot but also a great showing of how the team brought the game from concept to the final product that Devolver Digital is getting out there for them. Not only that but one more bit of gameplay to get hyped up for Anger Foot as we strap on our boots and get ready to go out and kick some things right in the face.

As you will be able to see below, we get to see the prototype phase of Anger Foot where everything was very blocky and of a much lower quality than you would think for a video game in the modern time. We then get to see how all of the lighting, character models, textures, and environmental effects are added in to not only give us a better visual experience, but one that helps further build out the fun for Anger Foot. Not something we normally get to see unless the teams are trying to highlight the changes from the original game to a remake/remaster. Obviously, not the case in this one but still fun to see how the process builds up to what we all are going to get to experience next week.

Anger Foot — From Prototype To Perfection

Join in the preparation for next week’s launch of Free Lives’ booter shooter Anger Foot, and see the game evolve from Prototype to Perfection in this beat-heavy comparison video.

Developed by Free Lives (Broforce, Gorn, Terra Nil), Anger Foot is a lightning-fast hard bass blast of kicking doors and kicking ass. In this relentless first-person kicker you’ll crash through the caffeine-fueled fever dream of Shit City, putting the boot to a menacing menagerie of merciless gangsters.

Did you expect to see Anger Foot grow this much over the years or did you think it mostly started out as cartoony as it is now? Do you think we will see more changes like this in the final product or will this be the peak of it all just before the launch? Would you like to be kicked in the face with more things like this or does it only truly work for the smaller developers out there? Kick it on down to the comment section and let the discussion flow on out there. We will share anything more that we get for Anger Foot, so please keep on checking back in for all of those updates and anything more that will certainly be on the way.
