Grab Your Pet Gun For The Full Launch Of RIPOUT

RIPOUT

The full version of RIPOUT is finally out there with the 1.0 launch of RIPOUT on the PC via Steam

The fully launched bioweapons are out and stalking the world for us all to hunt down in RIPOUT as of now. Yes, the 1.0 version of the game is finally out there on the PC for those who have been holding off on giving Pet Project Games' title a solid play out there. Those looking for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S experience will need to wait a little long, but you do have an option right now. So, go and grab your Pet Gun and gear up to stop the alien invaders in RIPOUT if you are in the market for a new FPS title to drop into your gaming mix. If you need another good reminder of what is going on now that the game is out of Early Access, well, we have that for you if you want to scroll just a bit fit further down.

You can get a taste of things for RIPOUT just below but what might not be easy to catch are some of the new 1.0 updates that are here. There are eight new levels added to the game, many other quality-of-life updates to enjoy, a new objective type called Kill Zone, and now the ability to save your game to the cloud. All features that I am sure everyone needed before RIPOUT came out of Early Access and to help build toward the next big wave of additions we can expect as the game gets ready for the console release. I am guessing that we will have all of these updates and many others that the PC community will get to experience in a good and bad way as the life cycle continues.

RIPOUT — Launch Trailer

3D Realms and Pet Project Games are thrilled to officially launch RIPOUT, the co-op sci-fi horror FPS, out of early access on Steam! Explore abandoned spaceships filled with genetically engineered bioweapons created to fend off alien invaders that have instead turned on their own creators. Tackle these mutant monstrosities alone or with a squad of up to three players, tearing through enemies as you search for Sanctuary, the last bastion of humanity.

RIPOUT’s 1.0 release includes new levels and the brand-new Kill Zone objective type, as well as a variety of balancing and quality-of-life updates.

New 1.0 Features:

  • Eight new levels to explore
  • New Objective Type – Kill Zone: Players must eliminate a specific number of enemies at a certain section of the level
  • Improved balancing for enemy health and damage based on player count and sector progress
  • Quality-of-life updates, including sensitivity settings for keyboard and controller, the ability to toggle ADS, and more
  • Cloud saves

Are you excited to be able to play the full version of RIPOUT now or do you still need to wait for the console version? How many other big updates will there be before that happens or will it just be more balancing and basic updates for the game? Will we see more objectives slowly come out too and should the game just stay in Early Access until it was ready to hit all of the announced platforms at once? Head on down to the comment section to let us know what you are thinking about all of this and much more. If we have anything else to add to RIPOUT, we will do it all here. Please keep a close eye on the site for all of those updates and the many more we have coming down the pipes.
